Commiting Suicide

Committing  Suicide …  Galatians 5:24 “Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.” God has been AMAZING and true this past week, from an eye opening training camp in Atlanta, Georgia, all the way to our safe landing in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. He has showed up in clear and unclear, bone chilling ways.  To me, he has asked for me to crucify all of my flesh! My thoughts, my tongue/ mouth, my actions, my body, my desires, have all been dedicated back to our Savior Jesus!  I have learned quickly to walk out this crucifixion...

Aiming for Restoration

We made it to Cambodia!  We flew into Phnom Penh and spent a couple of nights at a daycare center.  Our team experienced the infamous Russian Market, where we purchased some clean clothes, watches (but we still haven’t figured out what time it actually is here, ha ha) and any other supplies we needed before heading to Battambang.  It’s wonderful being back in Cambodia—I can’t believe I’m back.  It’s great watching my team experience Cambodia—for many of them its their first taste of it.  Sometimes we laugh over using the “Squaty...

Battambang

We're at Ming's…also known (well, to me!) as The Treehouse which is our new home in Battambang!  I'm swinging in the blue hammock, unshowered, sporting a Cambodian headband and eating peanutbutter on white bread.  ðŸ™‚  Today and tomorrow are our days off before we start ministry at Transform Asia Monday morning!  I feel good here! Yesterday we took the 6 hour bus ride to Battambang, filled with the resounding sounds of bad Khmai karaoke, Rambo dubbed over in Kmai, and some cop show with lots of screaming…which was very confusing to wake up to! 🙂 It also...

Safe in Cambodia!

We just spoke with the team leaders and they’ve all arrived safely in Cambodia. They are in route to their ministry site via some very long bus rides and will be settling in these next few days and getting some orientation from their host.
